Ng Eng Wan - VNIDA

Mr. Ng Eng Wan is the Supervisory Board Chair of a FDI firm (with listed GS Group Korea & Rohas Technic Bhd among its shareholders) in Vietnam for 4 years. The Supervisory Board assumes supervisory functions of the BOD and MD in relation to the management and operations of the company. He has gained valuable insights of board dynamics, work with diverse board cultures (Vietnamese, Malaysian & Korean) as well as accumulated oversight experience in corporate governance, risk management and internal controls. Mr Ng has over 30 years of regional experience, mostly with MNCs and based primarily in ASEAN countries, of which about 20 years are in c-suite leadership role. Currently he is a GM of a foreign owned private firm based in Malaysia & Vietnam.
He has diverse industry exposure namely financial institutions, logistics, manufacturing, healthcare, higher education, water utility. He has led ad-hoc projects in regional shared service, digital payment, business transformation, procurement P&P and profit margin improvement.
