Keith D Schulz Jr

Keith serves as Chairman of the Board for Vilube Corporation, a subsidiary of Motul Asia Pacific, a global manufacturer of automotive and industrial lubricants. He is based in HCM City and oversees operations in 12 regional markets. Concurrently Keith serves as Chief Sustainability and Chief Industrial Officer in the region and has held several roles for the group.
Previously, Keith served as Senior Portfolio Director for Navis Capital Partners, a buy-out fund focused on SE Asia with $5 billion under management.
Earlier, Keith worked for DaimlerChrysler in Detroit and Singapore in several functions. While a procurement manager responsible for SE Asia, Keith developed parts suppliers across the region in preparation of AFTA initiatives. This included several serving operations at Mercedes-Benz Vietnam.
Keith also advises start-ups in Vietnam, and is currently chairman for Bave Tech, Ltd., an automotive technology company.
Keith’s first professional experience in Vietnam was as director of the HCM City office of VATICO, Inc., a consulting firm advising Chrysler, Amway and Hughes Electronics, and one of the first US companies to return to Vietnam.
He also serves as Co-Chair of the ESG Committee at the American Chamber of Commerce in HCM City and has also served as Governor on the Board. His passion is bringing viable sustainability practices to private enterprise in emerging markets.
